[SOLVED] New Forum Rules, ALL READ!!

Freedomfta Simplified Site Rules

It has come to my attention that with all the new members as of late that we need a set of simple rules to follow for this site. ALL MEMBERS are expected to read and understand these rules and to adhere to them.

To keep it simple any rule violation in the opinion of staff will be cause for disciplinary action up to and including ban from the site. So please read and follow the rules, we do not enjoy babysitting or disciplining people for lack of common sense.

The DISRUPTIVE INFLUENCE POLICY, FREEDOMFTA ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY, and TERMS OF USE are part of these rules and are hereby incorporated by reference. Read and understand them.

1. No bin begging. This means do not post asking if/when there is a fix for your box. Staff will remove any begging posts and/or ban at our sole discretion.

2. Follow all request and staff directions.

3. No inappropriate avatars/signatures. Things such as advertisements, nudity, obscene pictures/wording are not allowed in avatars & signatures. Obscene is defined by the staff and common decency & common sense standards.

4. No hijacking. If you have a question/issue/something to post and it is not strictly related to the thread you are in it must be posted in a new thread. Don’t hijack, or take over someone else’s thread to ask your question or get your problem solved.

5. BIN files only in BIN areas. No questions or discussion in a BIN section.

6. No spamming/advertising. If you want to advertise your site or product contact us about buying a banner. Current sponsors are exempt from this rule and may post live links to THEIR site and post their specials for our members.

7. Read the CURRENT STATUS board. If you post asking if DN is down or if there is a *** fix and the information is already on the status board we will delete your post and discipline as we see fit. We don’t have time to deal with 50 “are we down” posts, and members don’t want to read the same thing a dozen times.

8. One thread per topic. This means do not post your question/issue/post more than once, otherwise known as double posting.

9. Respect your fellow members & staff at all times. Any personal insults or bashing will result in severe discipline. This includes racist jokes and slurs!

10. Follow the rules of individual forums. Examples are rules for the politics section, no posting of questions in BIN files area, No adult material except in the harem, ect.

11. No off site live links. Live links to Freedomfta posts & files are ok. Links live or dead to other fta sites are prohibited.

12. Members are allowed one account per member.

13. Keep language and pictures family appropriate. Exceptions are the harem and adult joke areas.

14. No bashing of box manufacturers or codegroups.

15. Absolutely no unwanted sexual harassment of members. ANY violation of this rule will result in the MINIMUM of a permanent ban.
