This document is the official Freedomfta Privacy Policy.

• General Declaration. Freedomfta is dedicated to actively protecting the privacy and identity of our members and staff. It is our position that each visitor to Freedomfta has a reasonable expectation of privacy. It is our position that this privacy extends from your internet connection to our servers, although we can only protect information on our servers. As Freedomfta is a member based site and is not open for posting for non-members we consider your personal information to be confidential, private and protected by this site.
• Definitions. “Freedomfta”, “staff”, “the site” and “we” refer to www.freedomfta.com and its staff collectively. “You” “your” and “yours” refers to the member and/or end user. “Reasonable expectation of privacy” is a legal term used in common law. “Private information” refers to your IP address, activity logs, email address and other information that is not available for general member viewing.
• Conditional Use. By using the site (Freedomfta) you agree to the terms of the Freedomfta Privacy Policy as well as the Terms of Use, and Acceptable Use Policy, and Simplified Site Rules.

• Your IP address is confidential. Freedomfta keeps your IP address confidential as part of your reasonable expectation of privacy. Freedomfta will not disclose your IP address to any third party. In the event of court order or other action against Freedomfta, we agree to fight any attempt to get your IP address from us.

• Email address. Unless you choose to display your email address or otherwise give it away we consider your email address to be confidential. Your email address, unless you choose to display it, is considered by us to be private and covered by a reasonable expectation of privacy.

• Third Party Disclosures of Private Information. Freedomfta does not sell, give away, trade or in any way share your private information with 3rd parties of any kind. Any attempt to secure your private information by legal means will be fought by Freedomfta and its staff to the best of our abilities.

• Technical Considerations. Freedomfta is well protected against unauthorized access. However in the event of an attack or other actions that we cannot prevent we are not liable for loss or release of private information or any potential damages arising out of any loss or release.

• Terms null and void. If you violate the acceptable use policy, simplified site rules, terms of use or this privacy policy, our obligation to keep your information confidential as set forth in this document is null and void. Any attacks, hack attempts, or other malicious activity or access by you voids any agreement with Freedomfta to keep your information confidential.

• Your Responsibility. It is your responsibility to keep your private information out of your profile, username (NIC), posts and contact information. Freedomfta is not liable for potential damages arising out of your negligence and/or information you intentionally or unintentionally put on the site where members may access it.

• Freedomfta and staff Harmless. Freedomfta shall not be held liable in any way shape or form for failure of technology or staff to protect your private information. We agree to do our best to protect your private information but there is no absolute guarantee due to potential circumstances beyond the control of Freedomfta and its staff.
